the true teacher

the greatest teacher is not the teacher that can bend themselves into every pose.

the wisest teacher is not the teacher that can read from a book.

the successful teacher is not the teacher with the biggest crowd.

the true teacher is the one that fell into a depth of despair,

that suffocated under the weight of their own heartache,

but walked through the fire & soldered their soul back together in rebirth because they wanted to live.

that looked inwards & reached for freedom to break the shackles so they could take flight once more.

the true teacher admits that they too are navigating an uncharted path confronted by confusion, pain & anguish, & knows that sometimes the mountain seems too unbearable to climb;

but the true teacher offers you their hand to climb it together,

the true teacher has seen the view & wants you to see it too.
